Heather thinks over what she wants to say. I am still not over the shock of finding her here in Pine Grove. It is taking every ounce of me not to pull her into my lap and never let her out of my arms again. I kind of hope no one finds us in here, so I can hold onto her for a little while longer. My fear is, that once we are out of this tiny room, she will disappear on me again and this time I won’t find her. Would it be wrong to smuggle her back to New York with me?

“This won’t take too long,” she says, breaking the silence.

I can’t take my eyes off her. Heather is even more beautiful than I remember. The club was dark, and I didn’t get a full view of her. Her creamy skin has a glow under the lights. Those deep green eyes look like pools of sparkling emeralds. I want to kiss the freckles that dot the bridge of her nose. Seeing those gorgeous tits of hers was nearly my undoing. There appears to be a sauce stain and something orange on the front. “It would look better without the food stains. Some idiot was running through the food court and knocked a tray of food down the front of me.”

No fucking way that woman I accidently bumped into was Heather. That idiot was me. Wow the universe literally knocked us into each other. “Um, so that was me. I saw you in the VIP section, and I was coming to find you when a group of fans saw me and started chasing me through the mall. I feel like such a cad. I’m sorry for ruining your dress.”

“It could have been a little bit of karma for standing you up.” All of the sudden, Heather’s eyes go wide and she covers her mouth with her hand. “Oh shit.”

“What’s wrong?” I ask.

“I just remembered that I was supposed to be meeting a date.” She glances down at the watch on her wrist. “Fifteen minutes ago.” My heart sinks in my chest.
